Crosstown Builds is a hobby level and combined effort, shared by two friends, Greg and Steve, who live across town from each other.

We each share common interests in most things that have wheels - especially motorcycles. Cars and bicycles enter the equation too. We both bring to the table our own unique set of tools and skills. So when projects are underway there is a crosstown collaboration of these tools and skills that help make things happen.

This blog intends to document various projects we've been involved in over the years and to share the many challenges and solutions we've devised to meet their ends. The key projects tend to be of metalcraft, fabrication, and restoration in nature and center around motorcycles and cars, but we are not limiting ourselves. More than a few unique home and garage projects will be covered here also.

The goal is that Crosstown Builds will grow into, at the minimum, a retirement platform to keep the both of us on the creative edge, keeping our minds active, and maybe even help others with similar interests.
